The Key Biscayne Fund for the Sunshine Kids is bringing its fifth annual holiday fundraiser to the newly renovated Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne on Thursday, Nov. 12.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and pairs an afternoon of shopping with lunch. Tickets cost $125. Proceeds go to the Sunshine Kids Foundation, a nonprofit founded in 1982 that provides group activities and emotional support for children undergoing cancer treatment in hospitals across North America, according to the organization's website.
Vendor and sponsor spots are still open. Residents or businesses interested in participating can contact Vivian Galego-Mendez at 305-205-2626 or Marilyn Borroto at 305-979-7510, according to the Key Biscayne Community Foundation event page. Tickets can also be purchased by calling either contact.
The fundraiser is organized by the Key Biscayne Fund for the Sunshine Kids, which supports the national foundation, as Key Biscayne Magazine reported.
