Three local restaurants will offer prix-fixe deals when Miami Spice Restaurant Months kicks off Friday, Aug. 1, giving Key Biscayne and Coconut Grove diners two months of three-course meals at set prices the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau says represent at least 30% off regular menu rates.

Novecento Key Biscayne returns for its 17th consecutive season. Jaguar in Coconut Grove is back for year 15. Grand Public Kitchen & Bar, which the GMCVB describes as one of Coconut Grove's most talked-about new openings, joins the program for the first time.

The bureau announced the 2026 lineup Sunday. More than 300 restaurants across Miami-Dade are participating in the program's 25th edition, down from a record 387 in 2025.

Brunch and lunch menus are set at $40. Dinner menus range from $50 to $65. The GMCVB calls it an "updated pricing structure," though the bureau did not disclose what the previous price points were.

The biggest addition is Miami Spice Reserve, a premium tier starting at $95 for elevated prix-fixe and tasting menu experiences. The Reserve tier targets restaurants with higher everyday price points and is new for 2026.

Select restaurants will also offer optional wine pairings featuring Louis Pommery California sparkling wine and Château La Gordonne rosé.

Program aims to sustain summer restaurant jobs

GMCVB President and CEO David Whitaker said the program began as "an economic development initiative to support our restaurant community during the quieter summer months." That summer-season boost matters for front-of-house and kitchen staff at neighborhood spots like Novecento and Jaguar, which have built more than a decade of participation in the program.

Miami Spice has grown from 56 restaurants in its 2002 debut to more than 300 this year.

Camillus House named 2026 charity partner

Camillus House, a South Florida nonprofit serving people experiencing homelessness, is the official charitable partner for 2026. Participating restaurants will feature QR codes on menus so diners can donate directly. Eddie Gloria, CEO of Camillus House, said the partnership lets diners help "ensure that individuals and families facing homelessness receive not only nutritious meals, but also the support and opportunities needed to rebuild their lives."

Reservations open now for the two-month run

Diners can search participating restaurants by neighborhood at miamispice.com. The program runs Friday, Aug. 1, through Sept. 30. Reservations are made directly with each restaurant.
