Miami commission eliminates 24-hour warning before homeless arrests

The Miami City Commission voted 3-2 on July 23 to let police arrest people camping on city streets after only a verbal warning, eliminating the prior written-notice and 24-hour waiting period that governed enforcement across the city, including Coconut Grove.

Manoli Greek opens on Coconut Grove's Main Highway

Chef Emmanouil "Manoli" Aslanoglou's Greek restaurant opened Wednesday, July 22, at 3540 Main Highway in Coconut Grove, bringing shared plates, a raw bar, a dessert trolley, and a cocktail program inspired by Greek tragedians to the Grove's dining corridor.
