Teachers at Key Biscayne K-8 Center, MAST Academy and other local schools can get into SeaWorld Orlando for free through Sept. 2, 2027.
The SeaWorld Florida Teacher Card, announced Sept. 9 by SeaWorld Orlando, gives Florida-certified K-12 classroom teachers unlimited park admission at no cost. Both public and private school teachers are eligible, though SeaWorld requires certification for online registration.
The offer matters for Key Biscayne families because the island's two main schools, Key Biscayne K-8 Center and MAST Academy on Virginia Key, employ dozens of certified teachers who qualify. The Islander News flagged the offer for island educators on Monday.
How Florida teachers can sign up for the card
Teachers sign up through ID.me at seaworldorlando.com/TeacherCard to receive a digital eVoucher. Registration is only available online, not at the park's ticket windows.
Private school teachers who cannot complete the online verification have a backup option. They can bring a letter from their principal on official letterhead, a Florida photo ID and their most recent pay stub to the SeaWorld front gate, Fox 35 Orlando reported.
Guest tickets and Aquatica add-on have limits
Teachers with the card can buy up to two discounted guest tickets at $38.99 each through ID.me, but those tickets must be bought and used by Friday. Teachers can also add unlimited Aquatica Orlando admission for $49.99 through the same Sept. 2, 2027, expiration.
Seasonal events included through early 2028
The card covers several seasonal events in the coming year: Three Kings Celebration in January 2027, Ocean Discovery Days in January 2027, Seven Seas Food Festival from February through May 2027, Electric Ocean from May through September 2027 and Christmas Celebration from November 2027 through January 2028. SeaWorld is also running its family-friendly Trick-or-Treat Halloween event through October, included with regular admission.
The card does not cover separately ticketed events such as Howl-O-Scream.
Brad Gilmour, SeaWorld Orlando's park president, said in the Sept. 9 announcement that the program is designed to give educators a chance to bring classroom lessons into the park.
Teachers who want the discounted $38.99 guest tickets have until Friday to register and buy them through ID.me.
